The Dineen Group created a whole new division dedicated to rail replacement work. The division, T2B (Train to Bus), has its own livery and is lettered for Rail Replacemnt with the strap line "Keeping our passengers moving". It did not add "in 20 year old buses". To start with at least, the fleet comprised only ex Transperth Volgren CR225L bodied Mercedes O405NH. This is their 174 (BS04RA), former Transperth 1741 (TP1741), seen in April 2019 heading north on Chapel Street on a Sandingham Line replacement service.

A couple of days earlier T2B 151 (BS00CB), former Transperth 1727 (TP1727), is seen outside the Arts Centre covering for work on the Frankston line.

Outside Parliament over Easter weekend in April 2019 is T2B 174 again on the Sandringham rail replacement route. The Sandringham line only serves Parliament at weekends before continuimg round the City Loop to its usual Flinders Street terminus, which is quite a hike away from Parliament.. Picture ref C3490 |

T2B 168 is seen again in Dandenong at the Station with a Driver Denning bus displaced from the Melbourne Visitor Shuttle behind.

A trio of Volgren C225L Transperth buses lined up at Caufield Station in late January bridging the gap in the service from the city between Caufield and Dandenong. In the lead is T2B 162 (BS00CH), former Transperth 1521 (TP1521), followed by an example from Victorian Touring Coaches and an anonymous black and silver example on the end, probably from Alpine Spirit.

Heading down the Dandenong Road at Windsor on rail replacement in January 2020 was 165 (BS00CJ), the oldest Transperth bus acquired being new as 1523 (TP1523) in mid 1999. It has since been sold to North Sydney Bus Charters.

Parked up at Wesernport's Koo Wee Rup depot in May 2021 were several Mercedes with 167 nearest the camera, followed by 150 (BS00CA) ex Transperth 1170 (TP1170) and since sold to Melbourne Premier Buslines, 162 since sold to the Sydney Bus Group, 165, and 174 - also sold to Sydney Bus Group - with 171 (BS00CF) on the end former Transperth 1539 (TP1539) and also sold on to the Sydney Bus Group.
