Blacksburg Transit operates out of modern facilities on the edge of town. At the time of the visit in August 2010 most services were in the hands of New Flyer D40LF and D35LF buses, some of which can be seen in the yard.

Two Ford E series are seen here in the depot yard. On the left is 57, whilst 22, on the right, has a wrap for the township of Christiansburg, which is served by Blacksburg Transit.

One of the many New Flyers in service, 3102, was one of the rarer, shorter D35LF variety. It, and the five others in the 2001 delivery, has since been withdrawn. It was only nine years old when seen in 2010.
