EFE SHOWBUS International Rally 2005 will feature many attractions.
Bristols & Concorde With Hangar 1 reconstruction underway in 2005, Concorde will be
out on the tarmac enabling us to remake the link between the Bristol aircraft and bus industry
that dates back to World War I. As the Bristol marque fades away from the bus routes of
Britain we celebrate 130 years of Bristol Bus History and 94 years of Bristol Aviation History.

Duxford site opens for entrants at 8.00 am.on Sunday September 18th.

Revised site layout. The revised entry arrangements for 2004 will be used again in 2005
but buses heading for the Concorde arena will travel the length of the taxiway to get there
and buses parking near the American Air Museum will use an entry gate further in to the site
to avoid some of the congestion after the pay booths. Parking Reception will be before the
Pay booth queue.

First are 10 years old in 2005 so the First display
will be a bit more special this year and will be in the Concorde arena. Once again they will
be providing the prize money for the winners.
Green Line To commemorate 75 of Green Line there will be a special
display of Green Line vehicles.
Plaxton are sponsoring the event, and there will be a special display of Plaxton coaches through the ages.
Stalls go under cover - the new Plaxton Premier Traders Marquee will give the opportunity
to browse some of our stalls come rain or shine!
ON SITE BUS - with the rally spreading from one end of the mammoth Duxford
site to the other, there will be a free low floor shuttle bus running the length of the site between
11.00am and 4.15pm.

THE BUS STATION - will be the area immediately in front opposite the
American Air Museum, which will be the Bus Station for vehicles coming and going on the
Duxford Village Tours throughout the afternoon.
How much? £12 for adults, £9 for senior citizens, £7 for other concessions and FREE for
under 16s. Group rates are available from the Museum. Further information is on their website.
Special rates apply for entrants. In 2005 every bus entered will be entitled to
three free entry permits, plus the driver.
