Something of a gem in January 1973, preserved Guy bodied Gay Arab III singledeck 63 (FA9291) set off in snow from Burton for Uxbridge, where it was met with warmer weather. It was attending a bus rally at Brunel University's community festival, Brunelzebub. The event was the forerunner of what became the world's biggest annual bus show, SHOWBUS. The near twenty participants took part in a parade around the University's perimeter road and 63 is being followed by South Midland's Duple Commander bodied Bristol LH6L touring coach with a number of the London Bus Preservation Group's collection parked on the right.
