One of the most striking and colourful liveries to appear on the Leyland TD1 was that of Glasgow Corporation. This very collectable model features fleet number 111 registered GE 2446 on route to George Square, which now resides at the Lathalmond Scottish Vintage Bus Museum.

Pride of the White Star Line, the Olympic was the first of its class and outlived its sister ships which were both sunk. During WW.I, painted in dazzle livery it was used as a troop ship and had 6" guns fitted forward and aft for its defence. After the War it was refitted and used by the Cunard company until finally being scrapped.
