In 2016 Go Bus broke into the Auckland market with a contract requiring around one hundred buses. GBZ NZ Enviroline bodied MAN 18.290 GB5409 (KBA680), is seen in the city in November 2017 on Queen Street and was part of that initial investment.

Ringing the changes, this is a Gemilang bodied MAN ND323F, 5807 (KDW240), also new in 2016 and this bus is actually in service on the 309.

Also on the 309 was a slightly different GBV NZ Enviroline, this time on an MAN 16.250 chassis: GB5201 (JZB327). The 2016 delivery has since been reregistered MUE70 for some reason. Note the NZ Bus Alexander Dennis Enviro200 buses in these shots. With KINETIC's takeover of both Go Bus and NZ Bus these operations are in common ownership.

The AT Metro contract also included the Airporter Service from Manukau to Auckland Airport. Specially liveried for the service was GB5106 (KDB704), a Kiwi bodied Volvo B7RLE seen leaving the airport in November 2017.

Owned by Auckland Council, this 2018 LDV E80 minibus was being operated by Go Bus as their 994 in February 2020 on a rideshare service to the Ferry Terminals. It is seen at Devonport Ferry Terminal with NZ Bus Enviro200 NB4277 (HBQ402). The minibus was transferred to Murphy at the end of 2021 to operate the Takanini Hail and Ride as their V2 (LPJ626).
