The town of Bristol straddles the Tennessee and Virginia state border. Both town has two local authorities, one for each state. There are two Transit operations too. Bristol Tennessee Transit and Bristol Virginia Transit. Both are small operations, Virginia's being the smaller, with what seemed like an exclusively Ford fleet when visited in Augist 2010. This anonymous Ford gives its ownership away more by the 32 fleet number than anything else.

This bigger and chunkier Ford, 34, is seen at the city's small Bus Station, which is on the Tennessee side of the border.

The two transit systems meet at the Bus Station. The larger red liveried buses belong to Bristol Tennessee Transit and the Fords to Virginia.
