New Castle Area Transit Authority operate a small fleet of buses, some of which work on commuter routes into Pittsburgh. Here Gillig Phantom 128 is on a morning run back into the city in July 2010.

A newer Gillig Advantage, 8093, arrives in the city on route 714 followed by a Port Authority Novabus Classic in the old red, white and black colour scheme, then rapidly disappearing from the cityscape.
