This Lynx is seen freshly Arriva'd in Watford. Many of the Lynx fleet were so treated and concentrated on the long standing 321 service from Luton to Uxbridge, though the southern end of the route has long been curtailed. The Lynxes later gave way to the gas powered DAF, then Citaros and then Wright Streetlites.

No Leyland Nationals made it into Arriva livery with the Shires, but several National Greenways managed it and kept going for some years. This example, 3305, seen in Aylesbury, was still hard at work in May 2003. The bus originated as Midland Red 477 (JOX477P) but became a Greenway with London & Country as 355 (JIL2195). |
Greenway 3050 (BTX152T) came to the Shires fleet from Parfitt's of Rhymney Bridge. It is thought to be based on London Transport 10.3 metre National LS329 (AYR329T). |
