Surprisingly few Lynxes joined the London fleet. Whizzing past Heathrow Airport on the 224 is one of the small batch of Lynxes owned and operated by London Buses. This one is with Centrewest and after initial use on the 607 Shepherd Bush Express from Uxbridge, found its on to the 224. Other examples found their way into the neighbouring First BeeLine associated fleet.

The 81 became home to Lynxes - having once hosted London Buslines'. The Lynxes were withdrawn in Summer 2000 and replaced by low floor singledeckers, with odd decker workings.
