One of the star attractions at EFE SHOWBUS International 2004 was First Mercedes
Citaro fuel cell powered ESO64993 (LK53MBV). Open top Routemaster RM120 (now registered SSL809)
was parked alongside to enable visitors to view the roof mounted fuel cell technology.
The bus is one of three in use by First in London and one of a trial fleet funded by Brussels
in use in cities throughout Europe. To the left of the Citaro is former Westcliffe-on-Sea
Bristol K/ECW 825 (AJN825) making a welcome return to SHOWBUS after suffering fire damage a
few years ago. First Essex care for this heritage vehicle.

To illustrate the appeal and support of SHOWBUS, Volvo B10M 20437 (M41FTC) from First Hants &
Dorset is parked alongside a Volvo B10BLE/Alexander ALX300 from First Aberdeen. The Aberdeen
vehicle was new as First Glasgow SV580 in 2000 and the B10M/Plaxton as Wessex 180.

Leaving SHOWBUS is First Glasgow 61291 (S114CSG) Scania L94UB/Wright Access with obvious
route branding for the 75 service. The bus was new to Yorkshire Rider.
