Custom Denning
Australian manutacturer, Custom Coaches started out in the bicycle business. After supplying tubular steel for bus seats the company went into building bus bodies. Its main facility was in Adelaide, but it also had facilities in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The company was acquired in 2013 by UK based Alexander Dennis and promptly lost one if its main customers, Sydney Buses, leading the company into insolvency. Initially salvaged by former directors and reduced to the Sydney premises, the company was acquired by another British company, the Dunn Group, who already operated Telfords Coaches. Since then they have sold Telfords, relocated to a new Sydney location and acquired Queensland manufacturer, Denning to concentrate on bus building in Australia.
