NABI is an American bus builder with its roots in importing Hungarian Ikarus models. When Ikarus production collapsed in the aftermath of the disintegration of the Soviet Union, American operations were consolidated under the name North American Bus Industries with a manufacturing plant in Anniston, Alabama. The first US NABI model was the 416, based on the Ikarus 415.
