City Sightseeing started up recently in Melbourne using the traditional branding, unlike operations in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. The vehicles chosen are 30 year old ex London Leyland Titans, and not exactly sprightly, this Leyland Olympian with Alexander bodywork. The bodies are not fully open top, less in deference to Melbourne's fickle weather, but to ensure passengers cannot reach the tram overheads! All the buses are named and 8514AO is Gulin, behind are a pair of Titans. Seeing three buses together is a rare sight as the service trundles round the city every 40 minutes on a journey taking around 100. There are also three daily trips to the seaside at Port Melbourne and St Kilda. Book here
