Continuous drizzle put a damper on Australia Day in Sydney this year. The Sunday had been glorious, but at least celebrants did not have to contend with up to six inches of rain that fell the following day, raining all day long in the city. Undeterred Sydney Bus Museum operated a well patronised and frequent service linking the Central Railway Station with Bridge Street, a block up from Circular Quay. Around a dozen vehicles were deployed including a London RT, RM and RML, the Museum's PMC bodied Atlantean and AEC Regal IV and a host of rear loader doubledeckers including 792, pictured here. The Commeng bodied AEC Regent III is leaning as it makes the acute right turn from Brisge Street into Phillip Street outside the Museum of Sydney.
