Park & Ride journeys are usually very short, but this Wycombe based Park & Ride bus is seen in Marlow having journeyed through from Reading some 20 miles away. Passengers might have been surprised to see this green Wright bodied VDL SB120 - 3701 (KE55CKU) - instead of their usual Arriva the Shires liveried bus. However this was not the first time one of the two P&R buses has ventured to Reading. With Wycombe's services marketed as "rainbow routes" with buses in a variety of colours, the Reading service has seen blue, red and orange buses. Wycombe's P&R service has recently been revised to reduce the vehicle need from three to two and the third VDL now has standard Arriva livery. So with 3701 off to Reading for the afternoon one wonders what was on the P&R service back in Wycombe.
