No apologies for another Australian Optare Solo after last week's new Skybus example. This is one of two acquired by Donric Group member Gold Bus of Ballarat. The seat belted SRs have room for up to three wheelchair passengers and were purchased in May for a contract to Ballarat Specialist School. Each bus also carries an attendant. Just leaving the school on Wednesday is BS00OV, the rego being in a new series for buses in the state of Victoria. The bus may be allocated fleet number 77, but this was not carried. The sister vehicle, BS00OU bears fleet number 10, which was carried by a Toyota Coaster which has presumably left the fleet. Solo 10 can be seen on our YouTube channel.
