Newly delivered to Redline in Aylesbury are Enviro200s for the new Berryfield development just to the north of the town. The route has been an extension of route 4 which used to shuttle between a south east development, the Coppice, and the town centre. Redline has used the same philosophy as with its recent St Albans routes with high specification on these buses, the green branch of Aylesbury's Rainbow Route Network. Special graphics, depicting loads of berries, adorn the distinctive metallic green livery. Enviro200 MK63XAR, one of a trio, is seen on Thursday evening in the depot yard getting a much needed clean after enduring a day of inclement weather on the streets of Aylesbury. One of the Berryfield buses will be on display at SHOWBUS this coming weekend, with another of Redline's fleet. The associated Red Rose fleet will be using a pair of their larger Enviro200s on the shuttle bus service to Stratford-on-Avon. |
