After safety concerns with the crowds gathering on the pavement opposite Melbourne's Town Hall, the animated Christmas scenes projected on to the building were transferred to the Library which is set back from the street allowing the crowds to gather without a road way in front of them. Sadly the library is a poor second best and the powers that be have relented. Traffic has reduced on Swanston Street so the dangers are primarily from the trams which are big and loud enough to avoid, though delivery drivers onelectric bikes are a peril! Yesterday and, as written on the Town Hall, with nine days to go before Christmas, Yarra Trams Siemens Combino 3526 in a blue wrap for Paramount+ new NCIS Sydney show starring Mavournee Hazel from Neighbours glides by. The blue neatly matches the top of the building, before it morphed into another Christmas scene.
