Trolleybus time this week! The Tasmanian Transport Museum owns two Hobart trolleybuses, A Leyland and a newer BUT. The Leylands were known as Canton buses, as the completed chassis were supposed to go to China, but were sold to other cities following the outbreak of the World War II. This is number 74 and the body was built by Hobart MTT who donated the trolley to the museum in 1964. The more popular and reliable BUT trolleys followed, the preserved example alongside is 235.
