This is one of four MCV bodied Volvo B9TL doubledeckers recently acquired by Redline in Aylesbury to provide extra capacity on their routes to Oxford and High Wycombe following Arriva's closures of its Wycombe and Aylesbury depots. The bus was new to Golden Tours in London as 105 (BF62UYN), suitably wrapped for its tours to the Harry Potter Studios. When replaced it went - in plain white - on temporary loan to Stagecoach North East where it was numbered 80044 and gained Stagecoach fleetnames on the front dash. It was then acquired by Atlantic Travel of Bolton until replaced by new Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC buses and then headed south to Aylesbury. Having run for a few months in plain white, it is seen here fresh from repaint in fleet colours The Volvos have been operating alongside older Plaxton President and Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvos on the Wycombe services and newer ex Wolverhampton University B5TL Volvos bodied by Wright. The latter have been operating in their navy livery but can soon be expected to adopt fleet livery.
