In the Duxford days some enthusiasts used to moan about the prevalence of former London Routemasters at SHOWBUS, but back in 1975 it was the RT family that dominated the scene. Some of this line up still remain in preservation, buy some have fallen by the wayside. It is nice to see the handful that turn up at SHOWBUS these days. The same is becoming true of the Routemaster, the numbers in active preservation are dwindling. Their DMS replacement never made it big time on the preservation scene. If Sajid Khan gets his way and knifes the Borismaster, perhaps they will rule the rally scene in the not too distant future!
