 A Victoria government stuff up resulted in the buses acquired by Quince's in Melbourne being surplus to requirements. Dion's was the beneficiary of several PMC Metro 90 bodied Mercedes O405 like MO3099 new in 1988 as DKA107. It is seen at the depot in November 2013 having worked off a university service. |

 Similarly disposed was VYL846, new with rego DKA127. It was withdrawn in 2017 and later sold to a Mr K Vlaarhoven for conversion into a motorhome. All four Quince Mercedes had alredy undergone a conversion before entering service in the Gong: from dual door to single door. |

 Mercedes WUS125 was originally DKA139, seen at the depot in November 2013, the bus was withdrawn the following year. |

 Also at the depot that day was Volgren CR228L Bodied Volvo B12BLE MO9270 of 2008 with a large ad promoting the delights of visiting the Gong in the summer. |
|
|
 Sister vehicle MO9274 was a year younger and is seen passing McDonalds, it does not have a roof sign promoting the burger joint! |
