The revised CR227L body is featured on the second of the batch delivered, 383 (5283AO), seen in the city in August 2008 when five years old. The restyled front dash has lost the frog eyed headlights.

The new CR228L body has an even tidier look than its predecessor and is a big improvement on the CR222L. This specimen, 394 (5294AO), is seen turning into Flinders Street in April 2010 when not yet five years old.

Two CR228Ls, with 419 (7519AO) are seen parked alongside frog-eyed 372 (0372AO) and - nearer the camera - 376 (4080AO). They are on layover in Footscray depot in April 2010.

An old picture from the turn of the century caught this Custom CB60 bodied bus bearing the Melbourne Bus Link name. There is no record of such a vehicle in the fleet, though it may have been a demonstrator on loan at the time.
