A W1 class tram a long way from home! Retired Melbourne 475 had found a new lease of life as a cafeteria when seen in 1994 in Darwin on the road out to the town's wharf.

As can be seen, two cars were involved, but the one advertising fish & chips is not identified. Sadly neither are there any more.

 Sticking out of the side of Ogden's Hotel in Perth is this former Melbourne tram. |
 The other end of the tram is inside the restaurant. It bears fleet number 118, but that does not appear to be its original number. |
 An excellent meal was enjoyed inside the tramcar back in April 2006. There was additional seating outsede the tramcar in the main building. |
