 No doubt delayed by the pandemic, nineteen new Alexander Dennis Enviro500MMC doubledeckers joined the fleet in 2020 and into 2021, 9532-9550. The first encountered was 9534 at the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal on a September 2023 visit. Further deliveries are expected as the older Enviros reach the end of their lives. There were even some Tridents still seen in service in 2023. Intersestingly BC Transit avoided buying any of the Mark II Enviro500 buses.

 Heading north on the Trans-Canadian Highway that day was Enviro500MMC 9533.

 Enviro500MMC 9536 was parked up in the depot that evening between older Enviro500 9530 and even newer VMC Classic Vi30 4241.
