Another unusual purchase was a batch of late model AEC Swifts with dual door bodies built by local builder, ECW. One of the batch made an unexpected appearance at SHOWBUS international 2004.

In 2001 there was a display of locally bodied Marshall vehicles at Duxford. Special singldeck Atlantean 40 (GEX740F) was part of that display.

Arriving for SHOWBUS international was another preserved Great Yarmouth singledecker, Pennine bodied AEC Reliance 85 (AEX85B), another rarity outside of Yarmouth, Halifax being the only other recipient of the combination.
