These ancient looking articulated buses are seen all over Beijing. This one is seen on the city outskirts.

Probably from the same fleet. this two axle rigid is of more recent design. Notice the forced air ventilation system (!) on the roof.
 
Beijing articulated buses
Directly behind the Forbidden City is a small Bus Station used by the fleet of red and cream city buses. These two artics are on layover. It looks like the Bus Station also doubles as an over night garage for the company.

A bus station adjacent to the Beijing Ring Road is dominated by the fleet of red and cream artics seen here unloading at the end of the morning rush hour.
