Joining 413 at Millennium Showbus were no fewer than three other preserved Dutch buses which had found a way round the EU tachograph rules for preserved buses. This is a Leyland-Werkspoor LE-WS with bodywork by Werkspoor and operated as number 4697 for Westlandse Stoomstramweg Mij. Dating from 1958 it was the oldest Dutch bus to appear at Millennium Showbus.

NZH and its predecessors operated a lengthy tram route from Amsterdam to teh seaside resort of Zandvoort via Harlem, which was extremely popular in the summer. This remaining 1899 Beijnes car, A37, is housed in the NZH Haarlem Museum and, unsurprisingly in view of the length of the route, is more like a train inside. The tram route was replaced by buses in 1957. Picture ref A3933 |
