Seen in New York in late July 2008 is eight year old MCI 102-DL3 32008. The Bonanza branding relates to one of several companies acquired from Coach USA when Stagecoach first divested itself from some of its US assests in the wake of falling business post 9/11. Arrow Line, Mini Coach of Boston, Maine Line, Pawtuxet Valley and the Providence-based Bonanza with 255 vehicles were all part of the deal. |
This new MCI D4505 was also in New York around the same time. The 75th anniversary badging commemorates Peter Carmen Picknelly's purchase of the Yellow Cab Air Line in Springfield, where the company remains based, in 1933 and its renaming to Peter Pan. Each bus is named after something in the Peter Pan series of books, 32027 being Michael's Wigwam. The Pickering family still own the company. |
