The old London Transport country area service, 336 linking Watford and Chesham service was upgraded with a pair of Northern Counties bodied DAF SB220 singledeckers new to Speedlink for the Heathrow Express service. The livery harks back to London Country days and was first used on the two DAFs. Seen at the top of Marlow Hill about to go for refuelling at a nearby Shell Station is DAF984 (R984FNW). |

Dart DPL479 (P479MLE) had a career at Heathrow before arriving with Carousel at High Wycombe. It was new to Capital at West Drayton and then passed to National Express' airport operations division at Heathrow. It is seen in the new Wycombe Bus Station on a wet day at the end of 2006. It too is in green livery, but for Bucks County Rider services - tendered routes in the area. |

Similarly liveried DPL423 (P423MLE) was another of the trio of Darts delivered to Capital in 1997. It is seen leaving the Bus Station in February 2007. |

With the opening of the new Eden Centre in March 2008, the 400 service to Flackwell Heath and Bourne End became marketed as the 36 "Purple line" with route 35 also serving Flackwell Heath, but by a totally different route. A recently acquired ex Metroline Dennis Dart/Marshall was painted purple and branded for the services. However Easter Saturday 2008 saw County Rider branded DPL479 pretending to be purple at Handy Cross in Wycombe.

One of the County Rider liveried Darts is seen at Court Gardens in Marlow, the terminal for a limited town network for the town. The bus links the town, Marlow Bottom, High Wycombe and Handy Cross with a few journey on selected days of the week. Shortly after this view was taken on a cold January day in 2011 the service passed to Red Eagle of Aylesbury who, in due course, provided a green Dart MPD for the town network.
