Carousel L556 (H556GKX) is one of several all Leyland Olympians acquired from Armchair off London contract work. This bus was painted in Thames Valley livery to commemorate the deceased local operator in Carousel's High Wycombe home town. This early morning shot has the bus in Marlow on a Bucks school run to Wycombe (service 922). |

The bus is seen again in May 2004 on the 400 service at Wycombe's Handy Cross Sports Centre.

Newly painted from Armchair's orange and white livery is this all Leyland Olympian on the 400, heading from High Wycombe's Handy Cross for Bourne End. The 'KX' registrations of these buses are now appropriately 'at home' in Buckinghamshire.

Olympian L554 (H554GKX) again arriving at Heathrow Central Bus Station in July 2004 on the newly launched A40 service along the A40 trunk road from High Wycombe to Uxbridge and hence to Heathrow. The service replaced, in part, the withdrawn facility provided via Slough to the airport on the joint Arriva/Beeline 74 route. The A40 route was initially worked by the Carousel Olympian fleet supplemented by the odd Lynx and - it is thought - MCW Metrobus.
