Leaving Reading on the X40 in December 2010 is Thames Travel Alexander Dennis Enviro200 957 (OU57FKB). In 2015 the bus was one of three transferred to Carousel for newly acquired route 40 from High Wycombe to Thame. It had become 552 by thenand was re-registered C2WYC on arrival in Wycombe. |

You wait ages for a bus then....... Three turn up at once. An unusual delay at Oxford's Northern Pear Tree Bridge Park & ride site. Post Christmas sales caused delays on the cross - city service, by which time the queue, pre-serviced by a car park based conductor was more than one Dennis Trident could cope with. Whlst the first two buses coped with the queue, the third dropped its passengers and high tailed it out of the car park to get the service back in line. Meanwhile a fourth Trident appeared. Leading the parade is Alexander ALX400 bodied 102 (T102DBW) which transferred some year later to Carousel and was reregistered SNZ1102. |
A few Park & Ride Tridents were been painted into standard Oxford Bus livery, as 102 (T102DBW), passing Park & Ride 118 (T118DBW), illustrates. Both buses moved to Carousel in 2014. |
In 2003 a new livery appeared, worn initially on the Citaro fleet, but seen here on Trident 106 (T106DBW), alongside old liveried 112 (T112DBW). Trident 112 passed to Carousel and 106 to Thames Travel. |
