Most striking additions to the London fleet - albeit temporarily - were Volvo articulated buses for the 207. Seen when the experimental operation started is AV2 (Y152ROT) in Acton. The bus was on loan from First Southampton, and is the same artic exhibited at Showbus international that year, 2001.

Seen ferrying the crowds at Cobham in April 2002 was AV1 (Y151ROT), the one bendibus to be painted red and the one which featured extensively in launch publicity for the bendibus trial. |
