Talisman Coaches entered two doubledeckers superbly presented in the colours of their one time owner, Colchester Borough Transport. On the left is that rare combination of ECW body on Leyland Atlantean chassis, once Colchester 90 (RVW90W) and on the right all Leyland Olympian 47 (H47MJN).

Graham Law's preserved Yorkshire Traction ECW bodied Olympian contrasts with theLeyland bodied one above. Former YTC 658 (A658OCX) is presented in Mexborough & Swinton colours, a company absorbed into YTC in 1969, the early days of the NBC.

The third bodybuilder, using basically the same design of body originated by ECW, was - in those days - fellow Leyland subsidiary, Roe. This example is from West Yorkshire PTE, their 5024 (CUB24Y).

Winner of its class award was this Alexander bodied Scania BR112DH from the Newcastle based PTE, Tyne & Wear Transport, 413 (JFT413X).

The Telford Bus Group entered this splendid example of a relatively short lived, but nonetheless impressive, Mancunian standard design. 2236 (RNA236J) is a Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetline.
