Another route 15 branded Volvo B10BLE, 818 (W818FBW), passes one of City Sightseeing's open toppers in St Aldates in May 2008. |
Secondhand acquisitions have become more common place since City of Oxford became part of the Go-Ahead Group and inter company transfers made sense. That was exactly the case with the Volvo B10BLE Wright buses rendered surplus with Brighton & Hove and fitting in neatly with the Oxford fleet. Volvo 793 (R223HCD) is one such bus seen in St Aldate's in May 2008 not long after transferring. |
Sister vehicle 798 (R228HCD) on route to Risinghurst two years later.

For some reason ex Brighton & Hove 229 (R229HCD) became 792 rather than 799. The Volvo is seen in St Aldates followed by a Park & Ride Trident in June 2010. |
