An unusual picture for you this week coming in to land at Vancouver Airport on Saturday evening, the flight passes the local Coast Mountain Bus depot housing a large chunk of the city's New Flyer trolleybus fleet. The backdrop gives emphasis to the company's name! The view is from a British Airways A350, which offered a smooth flight from Heathrow. Ground transport from Vancouver to my downtown hotel was easy, a local Skytrain and a short trolleybus ride. Less successful was the trip from High Wycombe to Heathrow with Carousel 103 to Slough not turning up, the First Beeline X74 arriving 10 minutes later than scheduled. Captain Slow was driving, so it was 20 minutes late at Slough and the connection to the new Reading Buses Flightline was missed, but - as you can see - I did get there in time.
