Sydney Bus Museum B5017.
After several years Sydney Bus Museum reopened in late 2016. Open the first and third Sundays each month, today was only its seventh opening. The Museum is now located in the old tramsheds alongside the modern Leichhardt depot. Priot to that it was at the old Tempe depot, but had to close because of Health and Safety concerns. The new Museum is probably a little larger in size, but the number of exhibits have grown in number with recent retirees incusing Custom boded Volvos from Forest and Westbus. The latter can just be seen beyond the London Routemaster on the right in this view of some of the exhibits. AEC Regent III 2338 was giving rides to visitors to the QVB and back hourly this Sunday.
We have thousands of pictures to choose from for our Picture of the Week but you are welcome to send in your own. If we do not feature it here, it may appear later in our picture gallery.
Ideally pictures should be 732 pixels wide and no more than 100kB.
