Oxford Tube Van Hool Astromega TDX27
In the last few days shoals of gleaming new Van Hool Astromega TDX27 deckers have been pouring on to the Stagecoach Oxford Tube express service to London, the most intensive express coach service in the country, if not beyond. A few of the 59 plated Astromegas are still in service alongside the new intake which stand out by having the fleetname below the destination and the black front dome. What this view shows is what passengers on the top deck may notice as really different, the near full length glazed roof. Oxford Tube 50275 (YJ14LFN) is seen at speed passing under the High Wycombe Handy Cross roundabout at Junction 4 of the M40 on Thursday. Check the new Oxford Tube out at SHOWBUS in September.
We have thousands of pictures to choose from for our Picture of the Week but you are welcome to send in your own. If we do not feature it here, it may appear later in our picture gallery.
