With SHOWBUS only 3 weeks away Red Rose Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL, W496WGH, called in at Donington Park after an appearance promoting SHOWBUS at the Leicester Transport Historic Trust's open day. The opportunity was taken to discuss the arrangements for three weeks hence and leave the promotional banners with Donington Park to display at the location. Former London General PVL96 then made its way steadily back down the M1 to Milton Keynes and home to Aylesbury. The second picture shows the bus parked alongside several Skills deckers which were performing a shuttle for a concert stage there this Sunday. The special "SHOWBUS Donington, Sunday 25th September" blind on the SHOWBUS bus might just be visible in this view, unfortunately the flicker on the display meant in was missed in the top picture.
