This view of the National shows how the rear end of a UK standard 10.3m model was married to the front end of the 11.3m to produce a street legal 10.9m version for the Australian market. This is evident in the smaller window bays of the rear portion of the bus. It is 40 years since the first National appeared in Australia, an 11.3m model that went on to join the Surfside Buslinese fleet. Picture ref A1367 |
