Bankstown based Westway Bus & Coach Service relaunched as Transit First in July 2003. The previous livery had its red stripes replaced by green and with a more striking green fronted livery used on low floor buses. MAN SL202 70 (MO1089), with PMC Metro 90 body built in 1990, shows the livery for older vehicles as the sun sets on Sydney Central Station behind. The camera flash shows off the new reflective fleetnames well. The bus has an interesting history, being acquired in 2005 with some routes from Baxter's, where it was 48. It was new to the Riverside Bus and Coach Service (trading as Parramatta-Ryde Bus Service) with the distinctive rego MO5000. The bus passed to the STA, as 3566, in 1999 with all of Riverside's operations. In 2007 it passed to Veolia as 691 with all of Transit First's fleet and survived into the early Transdev NSW days in 2013. |

Sliding under the main railway line in Parramatta in August 2002 is 1985 Custom bodied Volvo B10M MO4791. The bus is some way from its home as it is lettered for the Harris Park Transport associated Archie Moore's fleet based at Hurstville around 20km south. Baxter Bus Lines acquired the Volvo in early 2005 as their 22 (MO422) and it passed to Cumberland Coachlines of St Marys as TV5164 in January 2010. |
