These Mercedes O405s were purchased secondhand and were part of a batch of six (24-29) acquired from Sydney Buses. The PMC coach bodied vehicles were surplus to requirements when the Sydney Airport Express service was dropped when the Cityrail airport service started. This trio were respectively 3387 (BBL27), 3391 (BBL28) and 3388 (BBL29) in the Sydney fleet.
