A new Metrobus with an Alexander style open top body was at work in Perth in April 2009. Registered TC5516, the bus is seen loading by the Bell Tower and Ferry Terminal. Following a depot fire the bus had been transferred from Melbourne where it had been 101 (1396AO). It retained the fleet number in Perth.

The Ferry stop was also the stop for the Perth "Tram" tour, the tram being akin to the ubiquitous diesel powered cable cars found in virtually every city on city tours throughout the USA.

The second Metrobus on the tour in 2009 lacked City Sightseeing branding, but used the same insignia as the "trams". This is the basic livery that a fleet of Super Metrobuses arrived in Australia for City Sightseeing work via Ensignbus in the UK. Probably less than half has actually been deployed.
