Back in 1994, he main operator in Darwin was the Northern Territory Department of Transport & Works using a tan livery, linked to the Territory colours, and trading as Darwinbus. On the left is one of Darwinbus' Leyland B21s with PMC body, possibly 37 (MO 8 037). The chassis was based on the Leyland National. On the right is believed to be Buslink 110 (MO223), a Mercedes OH1316 with PMCSA bodywork, both are seen in Darwin Bus Station in winter 1994. Buslink 110 was inherited from MATILDA, a Darwin operator. Back in 1994 Buslink had only a small role in the provision of Darwin city services. |

We are unable to identify this TAFE advert bus seen in Darwin Bus Station in the nineties, probably 1999. The advert is very effective at disguising the bus' identity.
