In February 2018 the Bus and Coach Society of Victoria organised a visit to Dyson's Shepparton depot. A little over 18 months earlier the company had acquired the depot and operations of the Fallon Group's Shepp Transit, but as can be seen from this depot line up, the fleet had been well and truly assimilated into the Dyson fold. Nearest the camera is a bus transferred from Melbourne, 139 (4291AO), a 1999 Scania L94UB with the bug eyed Volgren CR222L body. Next up are native assimilated Shepparton buses: 1009 (9385AO), 1010 (9684AO) and 1012 (9685AO), all smart Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B7RLE. The further of the two Optimus buses is another B7RLE, 1018 (2121AO) with CR228L bodied 1013 (9046AO) alongside.

With Dyson numbering acquisitions sequentially, whether new or secondhand, the honour of fleet number 1000 fell to the former Shepp Transit Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B7RLE of 2010.

This pair of Volvos was posed with the contrasting Optimus and CR228L bodies. The Optimus is 1016 (6649AO) of 2014 and the CR228L, 1010 (9684AO) of 2013. Peeping between the two is another B7RLE, 1012, delivered with 1010, both CR228L buses being in the line up at the top of the page.
