Firefly is one of the survivors of the deregulation era for express coach services. It now markets and prides itself on quality of service. At one time there was a large fleet of Denning Landseer deckers like this one caught in Melbourne from the early days of operation of the current express network linking Adelaide and Sydney via its home town of elbourne. |

The front line coach fleet all carry names, 14 (5514AO) is known as "Midnight Runner". An appropriate name as there are overnight runs in both directions between Melbourne and Sydney and Melbourne and Adelaide. There are day coaches too. "Midnight Runner" is a 2004 Coach Design bodied Scania K124EB. In 2015 the coach was sold on to Bus Queensland as 18 (BQT18). |

Firefly Express is proud of the standards set in the interior of their coaches. This is the inside of "Miss Adventure", a Scania K420EB, 55 (5555AO), built for Firefly by Coach Concepts. It was new in 2008 and sold ten years later to Ballarat Coachlines. |
