 Forest is proud of its association with the wooded areas of the city which it serves and the tree emblem sported b its fleet. When the state government came up with the dumb idea to paint all the buses in the state in the same insipid blue colour scheme Forest tried to offer something that still reflected its origins. Some buses were painted in NSW style but using green instead of insipid blue, but the state was not to be swayed from its mission. So all had to conform, from blue Forests in North Sydney to blue Red Buses on the Central Coast. Mercedes O500LE 5108 (MO5108) new in 2012 with its Custom CB80 body is seen in Sydney CBD in March 2017.

 Another O500LE in the scheme is older 2009 CB60 Evo II bodied 5182 (MO5182) seen in May 2018 outside the Orchard Hotel in Chatswood.

 How long 5182 had the green scheme before 2018 is not known, but here it is in March 2017 with at least a green dash, wrapped in an American Express advert as it leaves Terrey Hills depot.
