GRAND 2 was one of a select few Bova Futuras that found their way to Australia. All were high floor tri-axles and the most significant order was from deregulation operator Bus Australia. GRAND 2 may well have been a refugee from that operation. It is seen outside the Darwin Central Hotel some time in the nineties.

The coach was seen again in August 2005 on Mitchell Street.

 From the Top End to the "Bottom End", Grand Touring is under common ownership with Wynyard Bus Lines in Tasmania. This BCI is thought to be 40 (GT12) seen at the Tasmanian Wynyward depot in February 2019.
