Several Nuline/Bayside have ended up with Merseylink in Tasmania. Several are seen here in their Devonport depot in February 2019 starting with 1994 Nambucca bodied Mercedes OH1621 28 (A40RP), now sold for use as a caravan. It was Nuline 97 (0697AO). Picture ref C3054 |
Only identifiable in this workshop shot is another Nambucca bodied Mercedes, on the right, 21 (A94TH), a 1993 OH1418, former 89 (0689AO) and also since sold as a camper. Picture ref C3097 |
Still with some service life left in it is Mercedes OH1418 31 (A20QO) with NCBC body. The bus was new to Ross Bus & Coach of Toowoomba in 1994 with rego 219CNX. It went on to Kellam Bus Lines of Ulladulla as MO3042 before arriving in Melbourne as 93 (0693AO). Picture ref C3090 |
This OH1418 was new to Nuline in 1996 with its PMCA XL body, leaving the fleet as 95 (0695AO) to become Merseylink 77 (A93TH). Picture ref C3069 |
Former Nuline 81 (0682AO) was bought new in 1993 with bodywork by Transit. As Merseylink 20 (A95TH) it was parked up with other withdrawn vehicles. Whilst the other two ex-Nuline buses enjoyed a camping retirement, this one was scrapped for spare parts. Picture ref C3053 |
